She resides in the burbs of Brisbane having settled down after 30 years living in Melbourne, Sydney then Seattle. She is an avid skier and traveller and is always planning her next holiday. David

David
Senior Consultant

David wandered into UX when he realised he couldn’t code or graphic design, but he was good with people and loved working with the internet. He has been working for Peak since 2007 and has worked with a range of clients from different industries. He still thinks usability testing is fun. He retains a key interest in user behaviour and how that affects design.

David

David
Senior Consultant

David has a wonderful family of five, a lot of video games, board games, comics and books and not as much time as he would like. Playing games with the family has been a good strategy and getting them to realise Monopoly is a bad game is a great achievement. A good Indian curry and a nice beer round out any good day and he can’t wait for the mighty Brisbane Lions to return to their winning ways.

Amber

Amber
Senior Consultant

Amber commenced as a market researcher in 2000, utilising her psychology and marketing qualifications. She became interested in UX in 2008 when managing a central knowledge base for a European head office. On completion of her information science degree, she became a UXer @ Peak in 2012. Amber is passionate about making information accessible and experiences rewarding for users online.

Amber

Amber
Senior Consultant

After many years away, Amber returned to her hometown Brisbane, with Belgian born husband and young family in tow. She enjoys the nature and quality of life that Brisbane offers, and can often be seen traipsing after two young children across the various local parks, markets and cafes. Her ‘happy place’ is beaches in Australia, or Belgian beer & chocolate cafes back in her second home of Belgium.

Dan

Dan
Senior Consultant

User Experience is a natural fit for Daniel, with a keen interest in psychology and technology. Daniel specialises in understanding the crucial role people play in the success of a project. With over 10 years of specialising in UX, he has helped companies of all sizes in Australia and the UK to deliver projects that users love.

Dan

Dan
Senior Consultant

Daniel loves travelling, especially to places that don't speak English and where the local food is a mystery. He treasures time with his family (including the dogs) and friends. A self confessed craft beer and coffee snob, he often wonders if he might just be a plain snob.

Michael

Michael
Senior Consultant

Michael spent his whole life informally studying the ways people tick before realising that in his day job as a designer he can help connect people with positive experiences. As a systems thinker he takes a holistic approach to the business problems presented by considering the entire range of people involved. Michael is representing the voice of the user in his work & this really makes him happy.

Michael

Michael
Senior Consultant

Spending time with his family and friends, constantly listening to music, being absorbed in nature, creating or appreciating visual art, learning new things, or just spacing out on Philosophy reads all constitute good use of free time in his books.

Miranda

Miranda
Senior Consultant

As a UX consultant with Peak Miranda has worked on a vast array of projects. No matter whether she is designing wireframes for an academic research portal, interviewing youth or executives, running workshops or analysing data she enjoys talking to people and uncovering the hidden. With a background in multimedia design she enjoys making improvements to the user experience for “the user”.

Miranda

Miranda
Senior Consultant

Miranda started her young family around the same time as starting with Peak. She now has three young children and is devoted to them and her husband. Every week seems to fall in to a busy rhythm of school, work, service and play with very little time for rest. Miranda spends her spare time either in entrepreneurial pursuits, personal development, or in community building activities.

Akanksha

Akanksha
Consultant

Akanksha discovered UX through her Interaction Design degree at UQ and explored it further with a Creative Industries degree at QUT where she exposed herself to the industry and took charge of UX projects. She loves solving complex navigational problems through testing and iterative designing and found early on that it is imperative to involve users in the design process to inform smooth outcomes.

Akanksha

Akanksha
Consultant

You can often find Akanksha with her nose in a good fantasy novel, watching an old black and white movie from the golden age of cinema or trying to commit to a healthy lifestyle but rarely succeeding. She likes spending time with friends and trying to keep up with her family back in India.
